Sales Assistant/Driver

£12.66 per hour

20 Hours per week (Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays)

Job Purpose

You will be key to your store’s success by collaborating with colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide excellent customer experiences. Your responsibilities include maximizing sales of AkzoNobel products and conducting customer deliveries.

This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week, from 12pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in engagement planning and store meetings.
• Welcome customers and provide informed, personalized service.
• Use client service tools to ensure consistency.
• Support monthly customer contact plans.
• Restock the shop floor according to merchandising plans.
• Load the van and plan delivery routes.
• Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do the same.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or retail roles.
• Valid driving license.
• Enjoy collaborative work environments.
• Remain calm under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Open to ongoing coaching and skill development.
