A leading publishing company in London is looking for a sales assistant to join their B2B sales team. The role involves providing administrative support, processing orders, and managing communications with customers. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at relationship building. We are looking for a sales assistant to join our busy mass market, non-traditional, B2B sales & special sales channel within the DK UK sales department, and be a key member of our team.
Duties will include full administrative support to the head of the channel, one sales manager and two key account managers with a range of tasks, including meeting preparation involving liaising with internal departments to secure materials, gathering and ordering samples and putting together presentations using ESK, PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Responsibilities
The role is also responsible for management of the sales inbox and ad hoc small sales, so we are looking for someone proficient at dealing with customers face to face, on screen and on the phone, with excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Knowledge, skills and responsibilities
The role requires someone who can demonstratea confident, positive and professional approach in managing relationships with key colleagues across all DK departments and with a variety of external contacts at all levels of business.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised with a can-do attitude, good system skills, a strong eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve, multi-task and stick to deadlines. If you have a passion for publishing, great relationship building experience, are a good team player and are commercially aware and driven then this could be the role for you.
