Job summary

Tapping House is seeking a Sales Assistant for its Dereham shop. This part-time role (22.5 hours/week over 3 flexible days) involves delivering excellent customer service, helping manage staff and volunteers, and supporting store operations to maximise income for the charity.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic team player, assist with banking procedures, and occasionally cover other shops within a reasonable distance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key holder and open/close the shop on occasion.

Job Title: Sales Assistant – Dereham Shop Salary: £14,871 pa Location: Mastell Way, Dereham, NR19 2XEHours of work: 22.5 hours per week over 3 flexible days (Monday to Sunday including some bank holidays)Annual Leave: 25 days increasing to 27 after 5 years’ service and 29 after 9years’ service + 8 days in lieu of public holidays (FTE)

Job SummaryTapping House’s Retail Assistants play a vital role in income generation. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and results driven retail assistant for our new store.

The successful candidate will support the store’s management team to build and manage a dedicated paid staff and volunteer team to maximise the income contribution from the shop to Tapping House focusing on sales targets, KPIs and stock generation. Key duties include serving as a key holder, opening and closing the premises on occasion, and completing end-of day banking procedures when required. Additionally, the job holder will provide support covering other Tapping House shops within a reasonable distance when required.
