Job summary

Poundland is recruiting a Seasonal Sales Assistant for the festive period to brighten the shopping experience for customers. You’ll be part of a friendly team, keeping shelves stocked, assisting customers, and supporting deliveries while helping ensure checkouts run smoothly.

This role begins soon and runs through December with flexible shifts. Training is provided, and a positive attitude and good organisation are essential for success in this busy peak period.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but not a requirement.
• Good organisation and attention to detail, especially when working on the tills, are essential.
• We’ll provide all the training you need to help you shine.

About The Role

Join us at Poundland during this festive period as a Seasonal Sales Assistant and help make the most magical shopping season of the year even brighter for our customers.

As one of Poundland's Elves on the shop floor, you’ll be a festive ambassador for our brand, creating a warm, welcoming, and merry shopping experience every day. You’ll be part of a friendly and energetic team, keeping shelves stocked with all those essential items, delivering fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, ensuring the checkouts run smoothly, and helping maintain a safe, tidy, and cheerful store environment. We're looking for team players with a positive, can-do attitude and a friendly approach. Good organisation and attention to detail, especially when working on the tills, are essential. Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but not a requirement. We’ll provide all the training you need to help you shine, because every member of our team plays an important part in making this, the most wonderful time of the year, a success.

This role will start soon and last until the end of December, and we may require you to work different shifts based on store needs, therefore flexibility is key.
