Job summary

Poundland is recruiting a Seasonal Sales Assistant to support the festive period. You will help create a warm, welcoming shopping experience, assist with tills and stock, and contribute to a cheerful store environment. This role starts soon and runs through December, with shifts adjusted to store needs.

You’ll join a friendly team with full training provided; flexible shifts and a supportive environment help you shine during the most wonderful time of the year.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is a bonus but not required.
• Willing to work flexible shifts during the festive period.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, especially at the tills.
• Full training provided to help you shine.

About The Role

Join us at Poundland during this festive period as a Seasonal Sales Assistant and help make the most magical shopping season of the year even brighter for our customers.

As one of Poundland's Elves on the shop floor, you’ll be a festive ambassador for our brand, creating a warm, welcoming, and merry shopping experience every day.

You’ll be part of a friendly and energetic team, keeping shelves stocked with all those essential items, delivering fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, ensuring the checkouts run smoothly, and helping maintain a safe, tidy, and cheerful store environment.

We're looking for team players with a positive, can-do attitude and a friendly approach. Good organisation and attention to detail, especially when working on the tills, are essential. Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but not a requirement. We’ll provide all the training you need to help you shine, because every member of our team plays an important part in making this, the most wonderful time of the year, a success.

This role will start soon and last until the end of December, and we may require you to work different shifts based on store needs, therefore flexibility is key.
