Job summary

Smyths Toys is looking for dedicated Sales Assistants for their Basingstoke store. This role is perfect for those seeking a temporary position in a dynamic team environment.

With pay rates of £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11.00 for under 21, flexibility is a must as stores operate 7 days a week. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional customer service, keep the store tidy, and help with various merchandise tasks.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in nursery, software & gaming, or backdoor/warehouse is highly desirable.

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11.00 per hour for under 21.

Responsibilities

Provide a high level of customer service

Ascertain customers’ needs and wants

Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team

Keep the store clean and tidy

Pack shelves and merchandise

Work delivery and complete price changes

Work on the tills

Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
