Job summary

Entertainer is seeking energetic Sales Assistants for a fixed-term role at the Tesco concession in Corby. You will manage toy displays, stock the shelves, price items and support promotions, delivering a great shopping experience.

You will work with a small team, set up Power Aisles, and handle merchandising with initiative and pride in your work. Shifts include weekdays and weekends, 8am–7pm, with 8 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Fixed term contract starting 6 September.
• 8 hours per week with shifts on weekdays and weekends, 8am–7pm.
• Toy knowledge to answer questions confidently.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising, deliveries, replenishing stock and price management.
• Start of shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps and general standards.
• Replenishment of section, maintaining cleanliness and organisation; communicate with colleagues.
• Acknowledge customers and encourage sales using toy knowledge.

Job description

We are looking for energetic and hard-working Sales Assistants to join our Tesco Concession team to help support us at our busiest time of the year, working in Corby Oakley Road Tesco Extra

Working as a Tesco Sales Assistant on a fixed term contract, you will be joining a small team to look after the toy aisles in our unique Entertainer branded space. You will be responsible for delivering a great shopping experience for our customers, keeping the shelves full and priced – whilst being on hand to confidently answer any toy related questions too with your newly found toy knowledge.

You will hit the ground running, setting up our eagerly anticipated Power Aisles, where we showcase our must-have toys and great value deals.

With your remote Entertainer Manager’s support and guidance, you will have the expertise to work on your own to carry out your main duties which include merchandising stock, replenishing the department, pricing and implementing promotions, whilst keeping the toy offering up to date and well stocked.

Having bucket loads of enthusiasm will help you with this unique role in which being able to work on your own initiative, and always taking pride in your work are a must!.

Key Information about this role:

• Fixed term contract starting on the 6th September
• Contract end date: Christmas Eve 24th December
• Working Hours - Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, between the hours of 8am and 7pm is required.
• Weekly contract hours – 8 hours per week.
• Shift patterns and days will vary but will be notified in advance.
• Opportunities for you to work extra hours during our busiest Christmas weeks.

Rates of Pay:

16-20 year olds - £11.15per hour.

21-year-oldplus - £12.71per hour
