Job summary

Entertainer is seeking energetic Sales Assistants to support the Tesco concession in Baldock, covering toy aisles and delivering a great shopping experience. You will merchandise, replenish stock, price items and help run promotions with enthusiasm.

You will work as part of a small team on a fixed term contract starting 6th September, with hours 8 per week and potential extra hours during peak Christmas periods. Roles involve interacting with customers and applying toy knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising and stock replenishment.
• Able to set up and maintain price points and promotions.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Flexible to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising, handling deliveries, replenishing stock and price management.
• Start of shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps and recovering general standards.

• Maintain good communication with your colleagues and Line Manager.
• Acknowledge customers in the aisles, making conversation and encouraging a sale using your toy knowledge.

Job description

We are looking for energetic and hard-working Sales Assistants to join our Tesco Concession team to help support us at our busiest time of the year, working in Baldock Tesco Extra

Working as a Tesco Sales Assistant on a fixed term contract, you will be joining a small team to look after the toy aisles in our unique Entertainer branded space. You will be responsible for delivering a great shopping experience for our customers, keeping the shelves full and priced – whilst being on hand to confidently answer any toy related questions too with your newly found toy knowledge.

You will hit the ground running, setting up our eagerly anticipated Power Aisles, where we showcase our must-have toys and great value deals.

With your remote Entertainer Manager’s support and guidance, you will have the expertise to work on your own to carry out your main duties which include merchandising stock, replenishing the department, pricing and implementing promotions, whilst keeping the toy offering up to date and well stocked.

Having bucket loads of enthusiasm will help you with this unique role in which being able to work on your own initiative, and always taking pride in your work are a must!.

Key Information about this role:

• Fixed term contract starting on the 6th September
• Contract end date: Christmas Eve 24th December
• Working Hours - Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, between the hours of 8am and 7pm is required.
• Weekly contract hours – 8 hours per week.
• Shift patterns and days will vary but will be notified in advance.
• Opportunities for you to work extra hours during our busiest Christmas weeks.

Rates of Pay:

16-20 year olds - £11.00per hour

21-year-oldplus - £12.21per hour
