Purpose:

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join our team at the Livingston store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 8 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, work well within a team, maintain stamina on the shop floor, and stay calm under pressure.

Key Activities:
  1. Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information about our products.
  2. Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions.
  3. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
  4. Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  5. Replenishing stock continuously to keep shelves full.
  6. Processing stock deliveries promptly.
  7. Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor to a high standard.
  8. Performing additional ad hoc duties as required.
