Purpose

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join our team in Grimsby.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 4 hours per week.

Please note: midweek availability is required for this role. Ideal candidates are those with energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina to work on a busy shop floor, and stay calm under pressure.

Key activities:
  1. Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information on products.
  2. Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions.
  3. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
  4. Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  5. Continuously replenishing stock to keep shelves full.
  6. Processing stock deliveries promptly.
  7. Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor to a high standard.
  8. Performing any additional ad hoc duties as required.
