Purpose

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Workingon store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 4 hours per week. Ideal candidate: If you have energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this is the role for you!

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina for a fast-paced shop floor, and remain calm under pressure.

Key activities:
  1. Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on products.
  2. Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
  3. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
  4. Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  5. Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are always full.
  6. Processing stock deliveries promptly.
  7. Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy to a high standard.
  8. Performing any additional ad hoc duties as required.
