Job summary

WHSmith Travel is seeking a Sales Assistant in Norwich to deliver excellent customer service across two branches, Norwich Hospital and Norwich Airport. This 18-hour contract involves four fixed days per week, with shifts starting around 5am and finishing around 8pm as required for sickness or holiday cover.

You will work independently or as part of a team to maintain store standards, assist customers, replenish stock, and ensure displays are inviting and navigable.

Role details:

18 hour sales assistant contract, 4 set working days ranging Sunday to Saturday, two days at Norwich Hospital branch, two days at Norwich Airport branch. Must be available for 5am opens/8pm closes based on sickness/holiday.

As a Sales Assistant you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

Airport Requirements:

• 5 years continuous references – to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years’ worth of either employment or education references without any gaps


• Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful


• Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
