Purpose

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Portsmouth store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted to work 12 hours per week. Ideal candidate: If you have energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this is the role for you!

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

Key activities:
  1. Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
  2. Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
  3. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
  4. Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  5. Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
  6. Processing stock deliveries in a timely manner.
  7. Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
  8. Any additional ad hoc duties, as required.

Salary/Pay:
