Job summary

Portmeirion Group PLC is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to join our Trentham Shopping Village team on a zero hours contract. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, help maintain high store standards, manage stock, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, providing outstanding customer service.

• Maintain accurate pricing, promotions, and stock levels.
• Process deliveries and book stock onto the system accurately.
• Assist with visual merchandising and ensure displays are attractive and effective.
• Encourage customers to join the company mailing list.
• Participate in regular stocktakes and inventory checks.
• Work with the Store Manager and team to achieve store objectives.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures when required.

About the Role

As a Retail Assistant, you will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets while ensuring every customer receives exceptional service. • Participate in regular stocktakes and inventory checks.
• Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and wider team to achieve store objectives.
• Support opening and closing procedures when required.
