Job summary

Topps Tiles is seeking a Sales Assistant (Service Specialist) on a fixed-term contract to last until 31 May 2027. The role is 20 hours per week, including weekend work. If you are 21 or over, you will earn £12.71 per hour plus personal sales commission; under 21, £10.85 per hour plus commission.

We train you to visualise projects and provide consultative support to customers. You won’t just serve at a till; you’ll develop real sales skills and build relationships in a small, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in tiles is not required; full training provided.
• Strong questioning to understand customer needs and visualise projects.
• Ability to upsell using product knowledge and design ideas.

About The Role

And unlike many retail roles, you won’t work late evenings — plus you’ll enjoy three days off at Christmas.

Oh, and did we mention? You’ll earn commission on every sale you help makehappen.

You don’t need to know anything about tiles — or even retail. If you’re outgoing, friendly, energetic and don’t mind lifting heavy boxes, we’ll give you all the training you need, including developing your sales confidence and skills through our simple, customer‑first sales framework.
