Job summary

Deichmann is hiring a Sales Assistant for our Bromley store. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, handling transactions at the till, and actively promoting products.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers and provide helpful information on products.
• Serve customers at the till and process sales transactions.
• Recommend and promote complementary products with each sale.
• Work with the team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Replenish stock and process deliveries to keep shelves full.
• Keep the shop floor clean and tidy to a high standard.
• Work 12 hours per week across any day (Mon–Sun).

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Bromley store., You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure. Key activities:

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI's.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
  A positive, can do attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
• The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
• Methodical approach to completing daily tasks.
