Sales Assistant
Full Time | Permanent
Kingston Johnstone's Decorating Centre

As a Sales Assistant within our Johnstone's Decorating Centre, you will provide first-class customer service by selling and promoting PPG/Johnstone’s products. This customer-facing role requires an outgoing, helpful, and hardworking nature to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve customers on the trade counter and in-store
• Sell and promote PPG/Johnstone’s products
• Stock shelves and take in deliveries
• Make deliveries
• Process cash and card payments
• Conduct stock takes and tint paint
• Perform IT tasks such as placing orders and checking stock
• Maintain good health, safety, and environmental practices

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing environment
• Excellent communication skills and a positive customer-focused attitude
• Good understanding of IT systems
• Flexibility regarding working hours and duties
• A valid driving license is essential
