Job summary

Cooksongold in Hatton Garden, London, is seeking a confident Sales Assistant to be the face of the store. You will deliver friendly service, offer expert product advice, and ensure customers have everything they need.

The role involves handling Click & Collect, stock duties, and demonstrations of jewellery tools and technology. A customer-facing background and interest in jewellery are desirable; weekend work is not required.

We are Cooksongold, the UK's largest one-stop shop for the jewellery maker, and we've been proudly supporting jewellers across the country since 1918, with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. We form part of HM Precious Metals, one of Europe's largest refiners and processors of precious metals.

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a confident Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at our thriving Hatton Garden Store. You will be the face of the store, delivering a reliable and friendly service to our customers, offering advice and expertise on our range of products and ensuring our customers have everything they need.

Key responsibilities

• Giving expert advice to customers at the Sales Counter.


• Getting involved with the preparation of Click & Collect orders.


• Serving the Click & Collect customers.


• Getting stuck in with the delivery and helping with other Stock Control-related duties.


• Getting to learn about the latest Technology in Big Tools (we give demonstrations to customers on Laser Welders, CNC Cutters/Engravers and more!)

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a customer-facing role, a desire to deliver excellent customer service and to go the extra mile to get the job done.

An interest in jewellery making and tech would be beneficial, but not essential.

Hours of work

Our working week totals 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30-16:45 with a 45-minute unpaid break.
