Job summary

HSL Chairs in Cheltenham is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our welcoming team. This customer-facing role involves greeting customers, guiding them through our chair fitting service, and helping them explore wellbeing benefits while keeping the showroom inviting.

You will be supported with in-depth training through the HSL Academy in West Yorkshire. We offer benefits, a contributory pension and a discretionary bonus, with hours 35 per week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus

• Keep showroom tidy and welcoming, ensuring a fresh environment
• Open daily; happy to work a mix of weekdays and weekends

Salary: £12.80 per hour

What does a day in the showroom look like?

From the moment our customers walk through the door, you'll be creating a warm and memorable experience. That might mean greeting them with a smile, helping them dodge the rain with an umbrella, and guiding them through our unique chair fitting service.

You’ll help customers discover the wellbeing benefits of our expertly designed chairs and sofas, supporting them in finding a style, fabric and size that truly suits their needs. You’ll also help keep the showroom looking its best, ensuring everything feels fresh, tidy and welcoming.

We're open every day, so you'll need to be happy working a mix of weekdays and weekends.

A DBS check will apply, as this is a customer-facing role.
