Job summary

PAIGE is hiring a Part Time Sales Associate for our Bicester Village Store. This fixed-term contract runs until January 2027, with 22.5 hours across 3 days, including weekdays and weekends.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, inventory tasks, selling, cashiering, clientelling and visual merchandising to uphold store standards and support revenue growth. Qualifications

• Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
• Friendly, proactive approach to customer service and queries.
• Confident using a POS system and handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with merchandise questions.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and promote current promotions.
• Maintain brand standards, product placement and store cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory tasks, receiving shipments and RTW transfers.
• Process transactions accurately and manage checkout with POS.
• Support clientelling and upsell opportunities to drive revenue.
• Assist with visual merchandising and stock replenishment.
• Multi-task during busy periods including weekday and weekend shifts.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Associate to join us in our Bicester Village Store, on a Part Time Basis, working 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, which will include weekday and weekend working.

This role is a fixed term contract position, until January 2027.

The Sales Associate position contributes to the stores success by ensuring we provide great customer service and achieve store standards. Customer Service is at the heart of what we do, as well as being involved in inventory operations, selling, cashiering, clientelling & VM.

The Role:

• Acknowledging and assisting every customer in a friendly and welcoming manner; answering questions, locating merchandise, recommending styles, and assisting try-on sessions in the fitting rooms to ensure the entire customer experience is pleasant, engaging, and efficient.
• Being knowledgeable and able to speak to all current promotions and sales that are utilized to positively impact revenue and benefit customers.
• Having a comprehensive knowledge about the brand, fits, materials, and manufacturing of PAIGE garments.
• Maintaining store visual standards throughout business hours by ensuring products are displayed neatly in their designated location, in size and color order, "finger" spaced, and that the store is clean and neat.
• Performing cleaning and straightening duties required prior to store opening and following store closing, as directed by the Manager on duty.
• Providing a friendly, accurate, and efficient transaction process for customers.
• Obtaining a comprehensive knowledge of the POS system, and having the ability to handle transactions in the event of an iPad, internet, and or debit/credit card reader malfunction.
• Receiving, and transferring shipments, including RTWs (Return to Warehouse)
• Participating in scheduled inventory tasks, including store wide physical inventory counts.
