Overview

Since our early days, the development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competence at MAHLE. Our products are used around the globe in two-wheeled vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and large engines.

Your Contribution

As an Applications Engineer & Account Manager within MAHLE Engine Systems (Motorsport), you will be the key link between our engineering team and our motorsport customers. You’ll provide expert technical support while managing customer relationships and helping drive business development in a high-performance environment.

• Understand and interpret customer requirements—both technical and commercial—to deliver tailored bearing system solutions.
• Use proprietary software and calculation techniques to design bespoke bearing systems.
• Coordinate New Part Reviews and support internal teams with up-to-date customer specifications and priorities.
• Prepare technical reports, manage pricing, respond to new enquiries, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Represent the business at trade shows and customer meetings, while contributing to marketing, advertising, and sales strategy.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• We’re looking for a self-motivated, technically minded individual with strong communication skills and a passion for motorsport and customer satisfaction.
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across functions and manage customer relationships.
• Comfortable using administrative and technical tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP); training will be provided if needed.
• A strong interest in the motorsport or automotive industry is highly desirable.
