You’ll work with customers on everything from profile and dimensional measurement through to surface inspection, quality control and automated inspection, supporting opportunities from the initial technical conversation through testing, demonstration and ultimately the sale.
You’ll become the technical point of contact for customers looking to solve complex measurement and inspection challenges.
This is where this role differs from a conventional Technical Sales or Applications Engineer position.
We’re looking for someone who can get beyond simply specifying a sensor.
The successful candidate will be able to take those requirements and work towards a practical 2D/3D inspection or measurement solution.
We’d particularly like to speak with people coming from backgrounds such as:
Experience with 2D/3D laser scanners, machine vision, 3D inspection, PLCs, robotics, automation or industrial measurement would be particularly valuable.
We’re looking for someone technically curious who enjoys solving problems.
Your technical ability, application experience and willingness to learn are far more important.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond a conventional engineering or sales position and become a technical specialist within advanced 2D/3D measurement and inspection.
