Job description

We are seeking a technically driven Sales Application Engineer (Remote) to join our client team to help support the growth of the business from the Midlands office

Business is currently spending millions on new facilities across UK to help their business grow from 10 to 50 in next 3-4 years

This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver value-added gas application solutions that meet customer needs, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the sales team to identify, develop, and implement gas application solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Engage with customers to understand process needs and recommend appropriate gases, technologies, and equipment.
  • Deliver compelling technical proposals, presentations, and ROI-based business cases that demonstrate the value of our offerings.
  • Manage application trials, demonstrations, and commissioning activities on customer sites.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, marketing, and operations to align solutions with customer and market demands.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Support training initiatives for internal teams and customers on application technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related discipline).
  • Solid experience in a technical sales, applications engineering, or process engineering role,
  • Strong understanding of applications in industries such as food processing, metallurgy, chemical manufacturing, energy, or glass.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
