Job Description:

We have partnered with a forward-thinking dealership with over 40 years of experience in the heavy plant, new and used equipment services industry. They are looking to expand their team with a Sales and Services Office Administrator across two departments. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience, knowledge of heavy plant equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Role: Sales and Services Administrator

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Within a reasonable commute of Corby

Responsibilities:
  • Weekly stock checks and distribution of lists to the sales team
  • Processing deal sheets and ensuring trade-in machine details are accurate
  • Conducting HPI checks on trade-in equipment
  • Calculating salesperson commissions
  • Coordinating invoicing with customers and finance companies
  • Liaising with the internal finance team on trade-ins, finance invoicing, and subsidy claims
  • Registering machines on manufacturer and internal systems
  • Purchasing warranty packages and applying for OEM rebates
  • Managing engine warranty registrations
  • Invoicing for hire fleet and managing hire contracts
  • Providing cover for the Sales Office Controller when required
  • Uploading machine services to the manufacturer portal
  • Installing sold machines on manufacturer and dealer management systems
  • Liaising with the warranty team for warranty job invoicing
  • Monitoring machine performance and communicating with customers
  • Purchasing service-related items and managing purchase orders with internal finance
  • Assisting with incoming customer calls as a second point of contact
  • Providing cover for the Service Controller during absence
Key Competences:
  • IT literacy, strong knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Excel and Teams
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Previous experience in plant machinery, agriculture, or automotive sectors
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Process-driven approach
