Job Summary

Location: Christchurch with flexible working

Hours: 8.30am – 5pm Mon-Fri

Aspire Jobs is working exclusively with our client, a well-established company based in Christchurch, recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Executive on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This role may lead to a permanent position.

This opportunity is suitable for a graduate or someone with innovative marketing ideas seeking to move into sales. Responsibilities include targeting luxury brands, opening doors, qualifying leads, and generating marketing ideas and collateral. You will manage the company's LinkedIn page, send samples to potential buyers, and follow up on contacts.

The role involves approximately 50% sales follow-up and 50% marketing development. It is focused on targeted direct marketing, working closely with directors, and may include attending pitches in London. This is not a social media marketing role and involves minimal design work.

Some in-house events for potential buyers are expected, requiring excellent communication skills across phone, face-to-face, and email interactions.

Sales & Lead Generation:

  • Qualify and generate new business leads and meetings for the sales team globally

Marketing & Content Support:

  • Conduct industry and trend research for marketing materials
  • Create compelling pitch decks and proposals
  • Support marketing campaigns and contribute content for channels

CRM & Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Research potential markets and opportunities
  • Perform competitor analysis
