Job Description:

The position would suit applicants with confidence, ambition, and ideally some direct or indirect sales experience of some kind.

This Sales and Marketing job offers a basic salary and an excellent bonus scheme designed to incentivize hard work and reward our sales and marketing staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

The main objective of the role is to increase the number of high-quality job seekers that Maxim works with—by proactively identifying and approaching high-quality candidates and increasing Maxim’s online visibility to attract suitable candidates considering a job move.

Before starting the sales and marketing work for each recruitment assignment, you will:

  • Gain a full understanding of the live job vacancy details from your manager.
  • Agree on the best strategy with your line manager to create a candidate shortlist, combining research, direct approach, and proactive marketing.
Research and Direct Approach Work
  • Create a list of suitable candidates from sources like internal databases, LinkedIn, and job boards.
  • Contact candidates via email, LinkedIn InMail, and phone to discuss their needs and suitability.
  • Network to generate new candidate leads.
  • Liaise daily with your manager to present candidates and discuss improvements.
  • Manage multiple vacancies and candidate searches simultaneously.
  • Enhance industry knowledge through reading and learning from colleagues.
Proactive Marketing Work
  • Market up to 5 urgent client roles across all online channels.
  • Ensure visibility of urgent vacancies and attract applications.
  • Promote company blogs to demonstrate expertise and attract passive candidates.

Maxim Recruitment provides sales and marketing training, but candidates must be proactive and knowledgeable about their skill sets.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Confidence and motivation to communicate with senior professionals via phone.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience in sales or related tasks is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of construction sector is not required but helpful; training provided.
  • Computer literacy in databases, Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet research.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • Literate and numerate; GCSE (C or above) in English and Maths or equivalent.
