We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to oversee key customer relationships—including a major Amazon account—while identifying growth opportunities within existing and new accounts. You’ll play a key role in the sales team, helping to shape and deliver customer strategies that drive revenue and long-term partnerships.
This includes:
- Manage and grow key customer accounts in the retail stationery sector, including Amazon.
- Build lasting relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor to their business.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, developing a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
- Deliver persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches that meet customer needs.
- Analyse and report on sales activity, pipeline progression, and account performance.
- Mentor and support the Amazon Account Manager to ensure effective performance.
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records and ensure accurate forecasting of retail product sales.
To be considered for this role we are looking for the following:
- Proven track record in B2B sales or account management, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing, margins, and sales KPIs.
- A confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a sales team.
- A customer-first attitude with a drive to exceed expectations and deliver solutions.
This role is a permanent position based in Yeovil. You will be working Monday – Friday 8.00 – 17.00. There will be some infrequent travel to customers. The role is paying £60,000 - £70,000 PA and this will be based on expectations and experience. After probation you will be enrolled on a company bonus scheme. The role also includes some other great benefits including medical insurance.
