Volkswagen Group in Milton Keynes is offering an industrial placement for a sandwich-degree student to join our busy sales support team. You will assist in managing and improving sales development programmes, reporting and cross-team operational tasks from June 2027 for 12 months.
The role requires strong commercial awareness, organisational skills and problem-solving mindset, with on-site work and a chance to gain hands-on experience across multiple brands.
You'll be working in our busy and diverse sales chain, assisting with the communication, management and performance of existing sales development programmes. You'll provide cross-team support for a range of operational work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales activity, helping to achieve our volume, growth and customer satisfaction ambitions. This role will include operational tasks, managing reporting through Excel/Power BI as well as project management.
To be successful in this team you'll have strong commercial awareness and organisational skills, as well as a keen awareness of customer and employee needs. The roles here suit a detail-focussed individual with a determination to solve problems and raise standards.
Our placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2027. You should be on a sandwich degree which offers a one-year industrial placement.
We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our placement students to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office.
