Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor for an 8-hour contract to join the in-store Retail team on the beautiful Devon coast. You’ll work with an energetic team delivering an excellent customer experience while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

You’ll be responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining presentation, and supporting merchandising and deliveries as needed. Prior retail experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is essential.
• Ability to operate tills and handle cash/card payments.
• Experience or understanding of visual merchandising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensure customers have a positive store experience in a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdowns/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising activities according to guidelines.
• Handle deliveries and act as Keyholder as required.

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries Keyholder responsibilities
