Job summary

Auto Reserve Ltd is seeking a motivated candidate to join our sales and dispatch team. The role involves helping customers find the right Jaguar/Land Rover parts via email, phone or in person using our inventory or the JLR Parts Catalogue.

The ideal candidate may be an ex-mechanic or engineer moving into a more administrative role. Key attributes include confident use of basic computer tools, knowledge of vehicle parts, proactive problem solving, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by email, phone or in person to identify the correct Jaguar/ Land Rover part using stock or JLR EPC.
• Support sales and dispatch processes, ensuring accurate parts selection and timely orders.
• Potentially transition from technical work to a more administrative role while staying customer-focused.

About Auto Reserve

Trading since 2008, Auto Reserve has become well known as the trusted specialist in the supply of pre-owned, new and refurbished Jaguar car parts. Our commitment to maintaining the highest quality, and widest range, of spare parts has led to us becoming the first choice of both private and trade customers here in the UK and Worldwide. As the company approaches its 20th year trading, we are expanding to include parts for Land Rover models, and as such have an open vacancy for a new member to join our team.

About the role

We are looking for an applicant to work in our sales and dispatch team. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic of the Jaguar Land Rover brand, and have some experience of working on such vehicles - whether that be in a professional capacity or as a keen hobbyist. The role will involve: Assisting customers by email, telephone or face to face in finding the correct part for their car. This will be achieved by using either the Auto Reserve Parts inventory, or the JLR Electronic Parts Catalogue. The role may be most suited to an ex-mechanic or engineer who is looking to step away from the more physical demands of working on vehicles and into a more administrative role. The successful applicant will have:

• Confidence in basic computer skills, or familiarity with sales and packaging software
• Knowledge of vehicle parts and systems
• A Pro-active approach to solving problems and assisting our customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Organisational skills and attention to detail

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (no weekends)

Holiday entitlement: 28 Days including all UK Bank Holidays. We operate a mandatory shutdown over the Christmas to New Year period.
