Job summary

Hospiscare in Exeter is seeking a Sales Advisor for a fixed-term contract until 31 January 2028. The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) across 5 days, including Bank Holidays, with a pay of £12.71 per hour. You will greet customers, handle tills, restock shelves, and work with the team to achieve sales goals.

Requires physical fitness to move furniture and white goods, and strong communication skills. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Fixed term contract until 31 January 2028

Full-Time – 37.5 hours/week, working 5 days Monday to Sunday including Bank Holidays

£12.71 per hour

What you’ll do:

• Greet and assist customers, providing them with product knowledge and recommendations
• Operate tills and process customer transactions
• Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
• Collaborate with team colleagues to achieve sales goals

In this role, you will require physical fitness to assist with moving and handling furniture and white goods.

You’ll have great communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach, good attention to detail and comfortable working in a responsive and flexible way. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
