Sales Advisor – New Homes

Location: Barnstaple, North Devon

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, ideally Thursday - Monday (1 weekend off a month), starting at 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: £28,382 Basic, OTE of £50k

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join a growing team in Barnstaple. Based in the sales office, you will be the first point of contact for prospective buyers and will play a pivotal role in guiding them through their journey of purchasing a new home.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Build and maintain relationships with potential buyers, understanding their needs and providing tailored advice.
  2. Oversee the sales process from initial inquiry to home handover, ensuring a seamless experience.
  3. Maintain show homes and sales offices to the highest standards, reflecting our brand's quality.
  4. Respond promptly to sales leads and follow up on them.
  5. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
  6. Work towards achieving sales targets and maximizing revenue for each property.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within housebuilding or estate agency.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the construction and property markets and their driving factors.
  • Effective negotiation skills to maximize revenue.
  • A full, valid driving license is essential due to the role's nature.
