Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated professional to help us with our day-to-day sales and estimating tasks. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing project costs, reviewing data, and providing accurate estimates to support our construction projects.

What you'll do
  • Evaluate project requirements and specifications to determine accurate cost estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating
  • Analyse planning & technical construction drawings, and other documentation to create precise estimates
  • Present estimates to customers and address any inquiries or modifications
  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and provide cost variance analysis
  • Ensure live projects are kept within budgets, working closely with the company contracts manager
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills is essential
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with project management software
  • Certification in estimating or related field
  • Good general understanding of the timber frame industry
  • Not be afraid to take on different responsibilities & duties within the role

Pay: £32,500.00-£34,500.00 per year
