The Client

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator professional to join the team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by supporting the sales function, streamlining processes, and maintaining high standards across all business areas. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Duties

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager, providing regular updates and completing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Assist the sales team by managing quotations, reviewing supplier information, processing orders, and handling administrative tasks to optimise their productivity.
  • Conduct site visits and assist with project-related snagging where required.
  • Become proficient in internal business systems for placing and managing orders.
  • Ensure all sustainability and compliance documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes.
  • Oversee the PQQ process as directed.
  • Organise supplier meetings, training sessions, and industry events as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records within the company’s CRM and internal platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial furniture products, their applications, and longevity.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret supplier price lists effectively.
  • Experience with preparing quotes, generating purchase orders, and reviewing order confirmations for accuracy.
  • Strong numerical and IT skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the confidence to engage professionally with clients and suppliers.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Non-Essential but Advantageous Requirements

  • Previous experience in the commercial furniture or FF&E sector, either with a supplier or dealer.
  • Previous experience working with CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign.

Salary: Up to £43,000

Location: London (5 days in-office)
