We're looking for a confident communicator with an analytical mind and B2B sales experience to discuss the opportunity to join a leading reseller of metal finishing machinery as a sales administrator.

Part-time role: 3 days per week offering flexible hours to work around your lifestyle

As a part-time sales administrator, you'll progress leads through the sales process for the retail business unit from enquiries and leads through to orders. You'll need to use your customer service skills and effective communication to build long-term relationships with customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming enquiries and take ownership until sales are confirmed, accurately recording details throughout the process
  • Identify sales opportunities from available data and initiate a sales process
  • Build new business relationships using industry contacts
  • Be the face of the company to clients, including coordinating visitors to the warehouse
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and environmentally sound working environment by ensuring compliance with company policy and legislation
  • Monitor and achieve departmental KPIs and identify and implement corrective actions where required
  • Relay important feedback from customers to internal teams
  • Review and suggest improvements to working practices, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all duties are performed respecting confidentiality guidelines, including the handling and storage of all customer data
  • Promote a high standard through personal example and create an environment of trust, open communication, creative thinking, and team effort
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments to ensure effective interface is maintained

  • Business-to-Business (B2B) skills
  • Good telephone manner and ability to build relationships over the phone
