Job Description:

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading landscaping business, in their search for a Sales Administrator to work in their facility in Chester.

The successful Sales Administrator will be offered:

  • £25,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, Mon – Thu 08:30 – 17:00 (40 mins unpaid lunch), and Friday 08:30 – 12:30
  • Permanent position
  • Pension
The role of Sales Administrator:
  • Manage the sales administration process, including receiving customer orders and entering details into the business system.
  • Process customer purchase orders, raise sales and works orders, and generate invoices and credit notes as needed.
  • Support the estimating process for new inquiries, including recording customer inquiries and passing estimate requests to relevant teams.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotations using established price lists or cost estimates.
  • Maintain records related to quotations and orders.
  • Handle customer complaints, referring issues to appropriate departments.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction enhancement.
Requirements for the Sales Administrator:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in engineering or manufacturing - ESSENTIAL
  • High professionalism and attention to detail
  • Understanding of the sales process from order to payment - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with MRP or CRM systems - DESIRABLE
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to perform various administrative tasks
  • Good time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
