Overview

Location: Crewe | Full-Time (36.25 hours/week) | On-site

Join a trusted name in lifting and rope technology! Pfeifer Drako Ltd, part of the internationally renowned Pfeifer Group, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to support our friendly Crane Ropes Sale team.

Reporting to the Product Sales Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our small sales office. You will be responsible for processing orders, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between departments to meet customer demands efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Process sales and purchase orders
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Check stock availability and produce accurate quotes
  • Liaise with workshop staff and logistics companies
  • Generate invoices and maintain filing systems
  • Provide daily tallies of quotes/orders
  • General administrative duties
What Were Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in a sales office or customer service environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organisational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to bespoke systems
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience with sales order processing and managing high volumes of telephone enquiries
  • Ability to interpret technical data
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or rope production environment (advantageous but not essential)
Working Hours

Negotiable

  • Full-time: 36.25 hours per week
  • 7.25 hours per day with a 45-minute unpaid break
  • Working hours negotiable between 8:00am and 5:00pm
