Job description

Customer Service Admin

Location: Chelmsford (must drive due to location)

Salary: £25 - £27k

Position: Monday 8 - 5:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)

Adecco Chelmsford are excited to be working alongside a growing client based close to Chelmsford. We are looking to recruit an experienced customer services executive to join their small and friendly team!

Looking for someone with a high standard of written and spoken English, you'll be outstanding on the phone and able to quickly get to grips with the products and business.

Previous experience working in a customer service environment is essential. You will need to have good attention to detail, be organised, computer literate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

This role will suit a calm and patient individual who has a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work, who thrives off working in a busy environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure a high level of customer service by telephone, live chat, and email.
  2. Advise customers on a range of products.
  3. Process orders over the phone.
  4. Resolve delivery issues and tactfully deal with occasional complaints.
  5. Perform general administrative tasks.
  6. Continually develop and increase product knowledge.

Personal Skills

  1. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  2. Experience in complaint handling.
  3. Confident.
  4. Positive, can-do attitude.
