Job summary

Nub News is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join our Crewe office, supporting sales and administration for our growing local network. The role combines on‑the‑job training with a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, earning a base wage with uncapped commission opportunities.

You will speak with businesses across the UK, manage your own sales pipeline, and learn how our processes keep local news and communities at the heart of everything we do.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths (grade 4/C) required.
• Sales or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiastic and ambitious with a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
• Build and maintain relationships with advertisers, sponsors, and partners.
• Support sales team with quotations, proposals, and onboarding.
• Maintain CRM systems and update customer data.
• Process sales orders and related administration accurately.
• Assist with marketing campaigns, reporting and performance tracking.
• Handle customer enquiries with excellent service.
• Assist with diary management and general office admin.
