Job description

Join our team and be part of a company that truly lives its values. With our expertise and commitment to innovation, we aim to build trust and make health and wellness accessible to all. By fostering inclusivity and care, we work collaboratively to improve the well-being of our colleagues, customers, and communities.

We're looking for a Sales Acquisition Manager to lead the design and continuous improvement of end-to-end marketplace workflows. This role plays a key part in ensuring our processes are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business and operational goals.

You'll work across functions to identify inefficiencies in seller management, order flow, and vendor support, and collaborate with tech and business teams to automate and optimise core processes. You'll also play a key role in standardising procedures, managing risk, and driving adoption of new ways of working across the marketplace organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, process thinking, and working at the intersection of operations, technology, and compliance.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Development & Optimisation
  • Design, implement, and refine end-to-end marketplace processes
  • Identify bottlenecks in vendor management, order processing, and fulfilment
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency and scalability
  1. Automation & System Enhancements
  • Collaborate with tech teams to automate key workflows and reduce manual work
  • Identify and deliver system integrations and tools that improve efficiency
  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions and prioritise enhancements
  1. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure marketplace operations comply with legal, financial, and operational standards
  • Build safeguards to reduce operational risks (e.g., fulfilment issues, non-compliance)
  • Work with legal and finance teams to enforce marketplace policies
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with onboarding, acquisition, and category teams to align process improvements
  • Coordinate with logistics and customer service to optimise fulfilment and returns
  • Lead change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track marketplace KPIs such as order speed, vendor setup time, and resolution rates
  • Provide performance insights and recommend improvements
  • Refine processes based on feedback from internal teams and external vendors
Location:

This role is based in London (or Nuneaton), with required travel to our Nuneaton Hub (or London) and occasionally to other locations of H&B. We support flexible and hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

The Person:
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in business operations, process improvement, or project management
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce or marketplace workflows
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, repeatable processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally across operations, tech, and commercial teams
  • Familiarity with automation tools, system integration, and data analysis
  • Strong communication skills, including documentation and change management
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and driving continuous improvement
What we offer:

Our benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • H&B Employee Discount - 25%
  • Bonus
  • Pension contributions
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Private Medical Care
  • Exclusive benefits, discounts, and savings from various retailers and providers
  • Electric Car Scheme
