The Company:

A fantastic opportunity for a Sales Account Manager with retail experience to join an established and leading supplier. This role would suit an ambitious and target sales candidate with a background in Buying.

The Role:

  • Maintaining accounts and establishing relationships with various high street retailer/supermarkets.
  • Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Following up on new leads and referrals.
  • Product development.
  • Identifying sales prospects and contacting these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Organising and attending meetings with Buyers.
  • Managing the development of critical paths.
  • Negotiation of sales/cost prices, lead times and delivery dates with retailers and factories.
  • Managing targets.
  • Identifying and resolving client concerns.
  • Participating in marketing events such as trade shows

Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years working within a ladies or menswear supplier or retailer
  • A proven track record of hitting sales targets and KPI’s.
  • A fashion background with ladies soft separates knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of critical paths.
  • Proven sales and product development experience.
