An established industry player is seeking a driven Freight Account Manager to join their dynamic team in Dartford. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth, where you will manage customer accounts, build lasting relationships, and achieve significant profit margins. You will thrive in a collaborative environment that encourages idea sharing and friendly competition. If you are eager to learn, motivated to succeed, and ready to take your career to the next level, this position is perfect for you. Join a company that values its employees and offers a wealth of benefits to support your well-being and career development.
We're looking to bring in a tenacious, driven and resilient Freight Account Manager. This is a tremendous opportunity with genuine development opportunities for someone who is looking for a career, rather than a job. You don't need industry experience, but you will need to be willing to learn, to be able to deliver great results, and to always be striving to hit that next milestone.
You will be responsible for managing the accounts you win. That means building and maintaining relationships with your customers, providing a tailored service, and growing your accounts to achieve maximum profitability to help you hit (and smash) your targets. This role will require you to be based at our office in Dartford, reporting to the Assistant Sales Manager and working alongside the existing team of Account Managers, as well as a team of Customer Service Specialists. We provide a dynamic environment where colleagues are able to bounce ideas off each other, as well as take part in a bit of friendly competition too!
If you would like to become a valued member of our team, we will make sure that you’re rewarded for your commitment and expertise. You can join the contributory Kuehne+Nagel pension plan and enjoy our Route 2 Rewards scheme, which offers everything from discounts, benefit information, recognition and its own wellbeing centre. We care for our colleagues (and their immediate family) with our employee assistance programme providing access to 24/7 GP, legal and financial advice along with mental health counselling. All of this to help you live a happier and healthier life. As proud holders of the Gold Covenant, we are a forces-friendly employer who recognise the skills, expertise and value service leavers bring to our organisation.
