What's the role?

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the face of Hilti, the very foundation of our business and direct sales model, and part of our community of 350+ Account Managers in Great Britain alone.

This field-based role is all about having meaningful interactions with customers and taking a consultative approach to support them in improving productivity, safety, and sustainability.

What does the role involve?
  • You will be responsible for the operational, organisational and strategic sales and account management of your territory.
  • Driving to customers in your designated region Monday-Friday, to build relationships and expand business in your region by understanding customer needs and then providing them with Hilti solutions.
  • Demonstrating our innovative tools and state-of-the-art software to your customers.
  • Utilising the best-in-class Salesforce CRM system.
  • Working towards defined Sales Targets in your region.
What you need is:
  • Have a full, manual UK driving license and willingness to travel, as you will make site visits to engage with customers Monday to Friday.
  • Able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK. Please note: Due to the minimum salary thresholds, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for Account Manager roles.

You will also need:

  • Proven Sales Account Manager or other sales experience, gained in any industry.
  • We are also keen to speak to applicants from an Engineering, Construction or Technical background, looking to utilise their knowledge in an exciting new direction.
  • Solution-oriented approach, with the ability to uncover customer pain points and needs to provide our best-suited solutions.
  • You share our values – commitment, teamwork, courage and integrity.
  • Resilience and adaptability – you will be comfortable meeting all levels of customers from a Site Operator to Managing Director.
  • Drive, curiosity and a motivated approach to achieve success and overcome challenges, with a passion to learn, develop and grow.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously to effectively manage your time and priorities.
