Job Description

Please Note: Role can be Hybrid or Remote depending on location.

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for our new Health business unit following our recent acquisition of AdviseInc. This hybrid role is based out of one of our NEC offices, with travel to customer sites. NECSWS has a strong reputation in the public sector, especially within Health, and we are looking for someone with a good understanding of finance. The role involves supporting the sales process of NEC AdviseInc, working closely with the CEO, to promote our platform that helps #MakeSense of Global Healthcare Spend Data.

The primary focus will be developing strategic relationships at a senior level in Health, including NHS Accounts, private healthcare, and international clients. The goal is to enable sales into these markets, focusing on senior finance stakeholders such as CEOs, CFOs, and Medical Directors within ICBs and secondary care.

The Account Manager will also coordinate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams within NECSWS to achieve revenue targets and develop the account. Responsibilities include maintaining CRM data and ensuring customer expectations are met both pre and post-sale.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and engage with senior management/executives to ensure expectations are met.
  • Generate new opportunities for product sales, solutions, and account extensions.
  • Achieve sales targets and activity KPIs.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities to meet revenue goals.
  • Establish long-term strategic relationships with clients, ensuring timely response to inquiries.
  • Identify and develop strategic opportunities within accounts.
  • Manage projects through to completion, ensuring adherence to bid and project procedures.
  • Follow corporate policies, processes, and guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings and training as required.
  • Contribute to team culture through efficient work practices and self-development.
  • Assist in debt resolution and ensure delivery of sales and services revenues.

Our software speaks for itself, but here are some stats:

  • Cost avoidance of £500k at a large University Hospital.
  • Opportunity to save £195k through variation analysis at Cluster/ICS level.
  • Over £1m saved by NHS Wales Shared Services since go-live.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software solution sales.
  • Experience in health market sales, including NHS Trusts and ICBs; international health sales is a plus.
  • Experience in developing health client accounts around software solutions.
  • Engagement with senior management and decision-makers in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate requirements into solutions and close sales.

Additional Information

  • Competitive benefits, including pension, private medical, holiday allowance, life assurance, and flexible benefits.
  • Must have right to work in the UK; vetting and checks required.
  • We are an equal opportunities employer committed to inclusion and accessibility.
