DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of advertising and e-commerce, offering advertisers a range of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon's websites, devices, and the Amazon DSP. We believe effective advertising enhances the customer experience and provides positive ROI for our partners.

We are hiring a Sales Account Manager to strengthen relationships with medium to large advertisers. This role requires strategic and consultative digital expertise to optimize value and impact for advertisers. You will leverage Amazon's proprietary data to develop tailored strategies across Amazon's product suite to meet business goals. The role involves driving customer success through close partnerships and collaboration with Amazon's sales, creative, operations, product, and retail teams.

As a Sales Account Manager, you should be passionate about solving complex business problems, possess strong analytical skills, and be capable of developing data-driven recommendations. Your goal will be to maximize performance, secure campaign renewals, and identify incremental revenue opportunities. This client-facing role requires excellent presentation and sales skills to challenge and educate advertisers while driving revenue growth.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Use knowledge of Amazon Ads' full-funnel ad products and measurement tools to craft tailored proposals for clients.
  2. Achieve or exceed revenue targets for your assigned portfolio.
  3. Meet non-revenue business objectives and goals.
  4. Manage all aspects of account management for medium to large accounts, developing strategic relationships with key contacts.
  5. Collaborate with the account team to develop annual brand and media strategies aligned with customer objectives.
  6. Utilize insights to build recommendations at each campaign stage, leading to revenue growth or increased customer satisfaction.
  7. Advocate for customer needs internally and leverage internal resources to ensure success.
  8. Educate advertisers on performance metrics, industry trends, and consumer insights using available data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a client-facing role within digital advertising, preferably with Ad Tech or Programmatic expertise.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue results and contributing to customer success.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, with experience building customer relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets to solve complex business and technology problems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning and skill development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in omni-channel marketing, including Display and STV.
  • Experience in e-commerce sales or marketing.
  • Experience in revenue ownership functions.
