Role overview

Based at our offices in Edinburgh and working in a hybrid capacity, we are currently recruiting for an Account Manager. You will manage and nurture existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities, aiming to meet sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a deep knowledge of our products.

Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the multi-metal sector.
  2. Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation and research.
  3. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on our range of products and services.
  4. Handle incoming customer inquiries, provide price quotes, and process orders promptly and accurately.
  5. Collaborate closely with the external sales team to coordinate efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes.
  7. Utilize our CRM system to maintain accurate sales records and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Previous experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the multi-metal sector.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and build rapport.
  3. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close deals.
  4. Proficient in using CRM systems and sales software tools.
  5. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  6. A team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
