Sales Account Executive

Location: Cambridge (potential for hybrid working)

Full-Time | Permanent

Our client are a fast-growing Renewable wholesaler dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service to their clients. They ar passionate about innovation, customer success, and building lasting partnerships. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Account Executive/Manager to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:
The role combines developing current client relationships, outbound sales for new business acquisition and account management. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, to upsell, cross sell and convert new leads into long-term clients and nurturing existing accounts to maximise value and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and target potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and networking
  • Manage the full sales cycle for all customer accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions that drive customer success
  • Upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts to expand business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure customer feedback is captured and actioned
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions in the CRM system

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiationand relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with a passion for growth
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Familiarity with CRM tools
  • Solar knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential
