RoleDescription

Asa TLE (Traffic Law Enforcement) Business Unit Manager, you will be responsiblefor developing and maintaining business relationships with our client baseincluding Safety Camera Units / Police / Local Authorities and NationalHighways. Reporting directly to the UK Sales Director, you’ll support the widerSales team in gaining and developing new projects to deliver our client’s intelligenttransportation solutions and road safety products to market.

·A demonstrablebackground in working in UK Road Safety, providing an understanding in themethodology and practices utilised with the sector as well broad understandingof safety technology that is available

·An understanding ofprocesses and connected stakeholders when delivering road safety projects

·An experienced Field-basedSales Account Manager with a professional, collaborative approach to buildingand maintaining customer relationships to understand needs

·Experience andtraining in results-driven, value-based project sales with effectiveconsultative communication skills

·Experience ofmanaging accounts and developing business with public sector bodies in the ITSindustry

·Candidates will berequired to successfully obtain security clearance.

KeyResponsibilities

·Meet and develop relationshipswith potential clients to develop road safety schemes for the company’s clientbase

·Work effectively withrelevant stakeholders to understand customer objectives and develop solutionsto address these

·Work alongside ProjectManagers and Engineering resources to fulfil the design specifications based oninitial requirements from our clients

·Develop quotes and pricebuild-ups for tender submissions working alongside the Bid Management team

·Take full ownershipand accountability for order intake for your territory within the Road Safety /ITS and Law Enforcement sectors

·Develop, forecast anddeliver a pipeline of orders through the application of strategic accountplanning, prospecting and opportunity qualification, capture planning, bidding andclosing solution-based sales

·Write / reviewsuccessful proposal / bid responses aligning with company themes and keymessages and solution attributes

·Work with third partyroad safety organisations (trade bodies / associated companies andconsultancies) to promote the company’s solutions and position their commercialoffering in line with customer and market needs

·Represent the companyat trade and industry events, including providing presentations

·Maintain a strongunderstanding of the organisation's technical products, services and processes

·Provide intelligenceto the business regarding future technical requirements, competitor analysis,market trends and future areas of growth or opportunity

·Update and maintainthe sales database for monthly reporting

ExperienceRequired

·Demonstrableexperience in a dynamic TLE sales environment and / or degree in BusinessManagement or a relevant field

·Understanding of roadsafety statistics, artificial intelligence analytics, video analytics, ANPR,object detection, tracking and recognition

·Familiarity withtraffic safety regulations, road infrastructure and transportation systems

·Working knowledge ofMS Office-tools and CRM databases

·Strong organisationaland time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities andmeet deadlines

·Strong communicationskills, both verbal and written
