Sales Account Manager

Location - Birmingham

Opportunity to work for a specialist in manufacturing and supplying safety-critical fasteners and turned parts, exactly to customer specifications. The company has a successful history of over 20 years in full-service manufacturing, import, and distribution of fasteners, MRO solutions, and services to the utilities industry.

Job Purpose

To serve as the key point of contact between the organization and customers, answering queries, offering advice, introducing new products, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Convert incoming enquiries into orders by liaising with customers via all communication methods (UK & Overseas)
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers via telephone or email
  • Accurately input and dispatch sales orders
  • Assist in resolving account queries as needed
  • Prepare quotations promptly in response to customer requests
  • Update customers politely and efficiently on order availability
  • Maintain accurate stock levels in the system
  • Set up part numbers correctly in the system
  • Manage customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively
  • Act as liaison between key customers and internal teams
  • Input sales orders and amendments with high accuracy in coding and pricing
  • Sourcing parts to meet customer requirements
