The Role

AspenTech is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager with a proven track record of sales success in the Engineering/Process Industry. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter sales professional with excellent business acumen and gravitas. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of executing sales campaigns from business development to closure and experience managing strategic customers.

Your Impact
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas with strong forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and execute a strategic account management plan to drive large deals and increase revenue.
  • Manage daily sales processes, coordinate account meetings, and support resources.
  • Provide updates, forecasts, and operational insights using Salesforce.com to sales and executive management.
  • Lead multidivisional account teams to ensure customer success.
  • Collaborate on global sales engagements as both team leader and member.
  • Develop and nurture C-level relationships to become a trusted advisor and secure referenceable customers.
What You'll Need
  • A successful track record in direct software sales, consistently exceeding quotas over multiple years.
  • Extensive experience selling to customers in the Engineering or Process Industry.
  • Experience leading multi-million-dollar sales campaigns.
  • Proficiency in establishing and cultivating C-level consultative relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional gravitas.
  • Self-discipline and motivation to achieve results independently.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
